Top Christmas tables

A festive garland, silver candle holders and pearl and silver napkin rings add some festive glamour to the Belmont dining table in our showroom.

We’ve been busy spreading some festive spirit around our showroom and we’re not only talking about our staff advent calendar, which offers up a bottle a fizz every day in the run-up to December 25!

We like to add a few simple decorations and style our larger tables so that our customers can see just how wonderful they look when laid for a Christmas celebration.

We have lots of lovely Christmassy home accessories, including jewelled, gold, and silver votive candle holders, resin pine cone candleholders, pearl napkin rings and even sparkly cushions to add to our display.

We even have new sparkly cushions for a Christmassy vibe.

We always like a runner of greenery – it’s a low-profile option that's easy for guests to chat over – placed down the centre of the table entwined with some battery powered fairy or star lights, to which a few baubles can be added into the mix for a splash of colour or sparkle.

Sprigs of fresh foliage or flowers will also bring a faux arrangement to life on the big day.

Small wreaths can look very effective tied or pinned to the backs of chairs, and larger wreaths make a real impact hung from a mirror with a bright red ribbon.

A small wreath looks great pinned to the back of our grey velvet Kingsley dining chair.

Making the table look extra-special for your guests on Christmas Day can be quite a challenge, especially when you’re under time pressure. So if you want to create a big impression for minimal effort, you may wish to buy a ready-made centrepiece that you can use again… and again.

We’ve done a bit of online research ourselves and found a few Christmas table displays that we really like. Here are our top 5 crackers!
