Overview of Direct Home Delivery service

We use Direct Home Delivery (DHD) as our delivery partner for our furniture shipments. All DHD crew know how to handle our furniture items and carry out assembly where required.

They are uniformed, courteous, and we can vouch for the quality of their service. They will install your dining table, sofa or any large item and take away the packaging for free.

DHD delivers Tuesday to Saturday in London and the Southeast and Monday to Friday from regional depots elsewhere in the UK and in Ireland. DHD will contact you directly to book a delivery date, which will then be confirmed via email.

If you live in London/the Southeast, you will receive another email 1-2 days hours prior to delivery to advise you of your 4-hour delivery window. 

If you live elsewhere in the UK or in Ireland, your furniture will be sent to a depot near you and delivery arranged from there. In this case, you will be contacted to agree a delivery date, which will be confirmed via email. You will receive another email 1-2 days prior to delivery, with an AM or PM slot.

All crews will give you a call 30 minutes to 1 hour before delivery to let you know that they're on their way.

WHAT HAPPENS IF ALL YOUR ITEMS ARE IN STOCK AT POINT OF PURCHASE?

If all your items are in stock at the point of sale and you live in London or Southeast England, you'll be contacted within a few days to book your delivery. Elsewhere in the UK and Ireland, you’ll hear from DHD within 14 days.

HOW SOON CAN YOU DELIVER?

For all furniture items that are in stock we deliver within 7-14 working days.

WHAT HAPPENS IF NOT ALL ITEMS ARE IN STOCK AT POINT OF PURCHASE?

If your furniture order contains any item that has been pre-ordered or that is currently out of stock you'll be contacted by DHD as soon as the outstanding goods have arrived in the warehouse and your entire order is ready to be shipped together.

We state expected delivery dates on our website for items that are available to pre-order.

Should you wish to have any part of your order that is in stock delivered earlier, we can of course arrange this for you. It does mean that you’ll have to pay an extra delivery charge, but it could be worth it if you don’t want to wait!

What if I need to rearrange or cancel my delivery?

Please contact DHD on 01483 266561 as soon as possible or at least 48 hours before delivery to avoid a cancellation/re-delivery charge of £60.
