We are fresh back from the wonderful twice yearly Maison Objet in Paris. This show is a must have visit for all Interior Design enthusiasts and is a fantastic place to gain ideas and to meet with fellow and potential new suppliers. You are almost sure to come away feeling full of inspiration for the new season.
Paris is our favourite European city too , so it’s a great excuse to get out of our office for a couple of days to see what it has to offer.
As usual we were more than blown away with all that was on offer and have come away feeling ultra-excited about our small, but ever growing business.
Here are some of the highlights we took away with us:
Meet Lilly the Lamma, posing on a beautiful sofa in the window of the Eichholz stand.
Beautiful coffee table styling inspiration, using simple glass pillars and candle light, so simple and sophisticated.
These antique shutters make an absolutley amazing entrance and welcome to this stand and very original idea too.
The use of huge chandeilers are in abundance all over the interiors show.
Lovely dining table setting using simple, yet always elegant orchid arrangements.
Lots of greenery shown here suspended from hanging baskets.
Unusual details used here with small jewelled crowns displayed at different heights.
Grand Urn style lamps with square shades look amazing in this room setting.
When in Paris an absolute must is to enjoy the seafood platter at the famous La Coupole. Since the 1920's this place has been an iconic Parisian restaurant and is well worth a visit.
And also a drink, or two at the famous Hotel Costes.
